Suzie Gilbert, author of Flyaway: How A Wild Bird Rehabber Sought Adventure and Found Her Wings, lives up here in the Hudson Valley somewhere, and used to be a volunteer at the now defunct Hudson Valley Raptor Center, a location that featured prominently in Little Birdies!.
