More birds of the Bronx Zoo...

Here's another cute little video of some of the avian residents of the Bronx Zoo.

The Bronx Zoo's World of Birds opened on June 16, 1972. It was six years in the planning, and cost about $3.5 million to complete. Dan Grant's original aviary in Little Birdies! was modeled after one of the large rooms in the World of Birds. Interestingly, the Aquatic Bird House was the first building opened on November 8,1899, the zoo's opening day.
