Here's a nice little photo montage/video documenting a recent (October 11, 2009) privately-financed acclimation and release of illegally poached parrots and macaws (after the dirtbags were arrested with the birds). These birds were destined for a caged life, likely somewhere in Japan or in the Middle East.
